Hello everyone, I'm considering upgrading my R7 1700 to the R7 3700X while keeping my existing 2x8GB Corsair LPX kit. I also need an additional 32GB of RAM, which means more than 2x8GB. The compatibility chart suggests I can only fit two DIMMs at 2933 MHz in practice. If I add another 2x8GB stick, would I have to lower my memory speed? Or should I replace the current setup? Thanks ahead!

QVL lists often lack clarity since they can't evaluate each item thoroughly. Zen 2 IMc seems to work well, which means compatibility should likely be fine.

The motherboard features four RAM slots, making it safe to use the same 2x8 kit again. You likely don’t need to upgrade the system further.
