Hey, so I have been trying for some while now to overclock my CPU to max and I have been searching the youtube how to but since i have a OLD CPU there really isn't much to go from. My Specs: CPU: AMD FX 6300 GPU: GTX 1050 TI and a GTX 750 for my other monitor RAM: 8GB Motherboard: Gigabyte Technology Co Ltd. 970A-DS3P Power Supply: 500 W I have a good CPU cooler. Hope to hear good news!

It comes from Bulldozer, they still boost performance in the same way. Your motherboard is worse than his, which means it's likely that Gigabyte set a lower maximum limit to prevent damage. They mentioned that checking the applied voltage matters more than the offset you use.
