Enhanced Storage – Occasional Freezes
Hey, so I recently upgraded my Laptops Ram from 8gb to 16gb. For the first 5 Hours, everything ran like butter, I finally got to play some games at faster speeds. The problem occurred when I was watching a movie on Disney+, and my Laptop just froze. No mouse movement, or anything. I tried closing the laptop, and opening it, and usually it would've gone into sleep mode, and put me back into my log in screen. However, it opened right up to the movie frame it froze on. I restarted the PC and it started alright, but upon trying to watch the movie, it froze again. That was last night, and today I was playing Mordhau, and it froze once more, and now I'm kinda tired of it. Please help out. I don't know much else. I'm pretty sure the Kingston ran at a higher frequency, if only like 60 MHZ difference, but I don't see how that could cause it.
Ensure proper connection, install correctly, run memtest86 for memory check. If it fails, send it immediately. Occasionally some memory modules fail. Very rare, but possible.
