You've successfully upgraded your RAM from 2400MHz to 2666MHz with the same voltage, and it's working well during games. Pushing it to 3000MHz is possible but depends on your motherboard support and stability. Test it carefully and monitor temperatures.

You can test your memory IC using the thaiphoon burner to see how effectively it handles overclocking. Most entry-level chips aren’t optimized for this, but you could potentially find a solid Samsung IC. What processor are you currently using?

2600, these kits are from g.skill, though one lacks a heatsink and doesn’t have RGB—still impressive for the overclocking potential. My goal is a 3200MHz, even if I settle for slower timings like cl19. I’d rather skip voltage tweaks since I’m using my PC for work. The Corsair Ballistix 2x8 3000mhz kit costs around 130 USD, which is pretty reasonable. I also heard they use Hynix chiplets in the BIOS, though I’m not sure about that.

nvm that lol, now its $87 for a 2x8 3000mhz corsair kit. It was just out of stock lol, but yeah , generally prices here are high because theres no demand for "high" end parts. most of the things on my facebook marketplace are DDR3 or i5s second to fourth gen

It was listed on Amazon, but RAM costs fluctuate like black powder here. The price shown covers taxes, yet it remains quite low, around 480 for a 5700XT model.
