Enhance your processor performance through advanced overclocking techniques.
Hello everyone! Yes, you can try overclocking your RAM to 3600 MHz on an ASUS Prime X570-PRO. It’s possible, but make sure your system is stable and compatible. Using a 3700x RAM alongside your setup won’t hurt, and keeping only the 8-pin CPU header on your motherboard shouldn’t negatively impact performance.
It depends on whether your RAM or CPU can support the task. The 8-pin connector aids CPU overclocking, though I’m unsure about RAM speeds.
Everything seems achievable... at least that's what my instructors said. Make sure you understand how to reset the CMOS on your motherboard before trying to modify your RAM, just in case.
I tried it and got great results. My setup uses the ripjaws 3000mhz 15-16-16-35 setting, which I managed to push past 3333mhz on my B350 with a Ryzen 1400. The same configuration is now working at 3600mhz 16-18-18-38 on an MSP2700MX with a Ryzen 5 3600.
