I've been using my existing PC for a while now, and I'm considering an upgrade or build. I often find it hard to pick the right motherboard. Do you have any advice or resources you could share based on these specs? This setup works well overall. Your 16GB 2400Mhz DDR4 RAM won't fit with the 7800X3D, so you'll need to upgrade to DDR5. The Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360 A-RGB is quite pricey and unnecessary for a 7800X3D; a standard air cooler such as the Peerless assassin SE120 or AK620 will suffice. Spare some cash.

DDR5 6000Mhz CL30 represents the optimal point for Ryzen 7000 processors. It’s worth noting that while an AIO is possible, it comes with a higher price tag and extra visual appeal. If you’re on a tighter budget, pure performance should take priority. Make sure to upgrade your motherboard as well, especially if you don’t already have one compatible with Ryzen 7000/AM5.

Uncertain about your RAM specs but DDR4 won't fit the 7800X3D, opt for DDR5 preferably 5600CL36 or better 6000CL30.
