I've been looking for a CPU cooler to swap in for my stock Wraith Stealth, and I was curious about boost speeds. Based on what I know about CPUs, boost clock speeds come from more power usage, but they're limited by the CPU's temperature. Could using a better cooler help the CPU keep its boost speeds higher? That would be useful for my 5600X.

Unless you adjust any BIOS settings, a stock cooler works well

I don't agree. The Stealth isn't a top choice for cooling, and performance drops if you lack a case with strong airflow. Thermals play a role, but lower temperatures usually boost efficiency. Invest in a solid single tower cooler—it'll provide ample thermal margin. You can also lower the CPU voltage with the PBO2 curve optimizer, offering more power and better heat management.

I didn't say stock cooler is amazing. It handles temperatures pretty well because it uses 5600x without consuming much power. It's noisy, but it keeps things stable. If it works with my 3900x, it should handle the same with 5600x too.

I've only worked with the Stealth using a 3600 model, where temperatures stayed above 90°C under load. The case had good airflow and fans, so it wasn't due to thermal throttling. In fact, the 5600X gets even hotter. You might be considering the Prism—it's a better cooler and works adequately, though it's noisy. The Stealth simply doesn't meet the requirements.

The stealth performed well under those temperatures. It handles the heat without significant issues. Undervolting the CPUs also contributed to better stability. A custom curve helped maintain performance.
