What's your budget? Your choice is solid, but I’d pick the B450 Tomahawk instead of the B450 Tomahawk and 2600 for a great tight budget setup. You can later upgrade to 3700x on the B450 Tomahawk. The MSI X470 Gaming Pro Carbon is also a decent option for a future 3900x upgrade.

Appreciate the idea, aiming for $300 to $400. It would make Tomahawk seem more affordable and aligns with my MSI experience. The focus on upgradability is a smart choice!

The first-gen GTX960 can struggle with i5 processors due to limited performance and power efficiency.
