I misplaced something, check the menu or confirm the GPU connection instead of the motherboard. Space Engineers operates at a maximum of 60 FPS on my system.

I own two 290's and Space Engineers remains quite demanding. It seems the game relies heavily on CPU power due to extensive physics and asteroid encounters. Is it still in beta? If so, expect frequent crashes when using tab-out. If you were playing, consider overclocking or adjusting your view distance.
