Hey everyone! I'm looking for a fresh game that offers an engaging story and lasts longer than five hours. Let me know if you have any suggestions! Thanks!

This wasn't what I expected. The first one was the best. The second was decent, and the third... we should avoid discussing it.

The combination created a smoother narrative compared to any single element.

Mass Effect Trilogy – roughly 40 hours per playthrough. Each title shines in storytelling, and I altered the ending of the third game. Witcher 2 & 3 – Witcher 1 offers a tough challenge; watch a short demo to grasp character backgrounds. Playing the first two games enhances appreciation for the third. Metal Gear series – Only MGS4 isn’t consistently playable on PC, but it’s worth trying if you haven’t explored the whole lineup.

After Dark Souls gained attention, I want to note that while the games offer an engaging narrative, they don’t deliver stories in the conventional way. You’ll need to reconstruct the plot yourself, which can be interesting but differs from typical expectations. The game is very abstract. I completed The Witcher 3 and its expansions after spending around 225 hours, and I’m still thinking about doing a New Game+ one day. It seems every discussion highlights TW3, but if you’re seeking a story-driven experience with deep, rewarding playtime, it’s an ideal match.

Not my cup of tea. The first one was pretty cool and engaging, the second was fine, and the third started well but turned into a confusing storyline.
