Hello there! I'm working on rendering a video with Vegas Pro 12. Before switching to Windows 10, everything functioned properly—though it took some time to get my 1080p videos up and running. Now, even at 360p, rendering is a challenge. With Windows 7 and a mid-range CPU (i5-4990K), I could handle high usage until the video finished. After updating, if my CPU stays at full load for just five seconds, I see an error message warning about preventing data loss, followed by crashes or shutdowns in Vegas Pro. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! My system specs: i5-4990K, ASUS Z97-K, 16GB RAM, MSI Twin FROG 560GTX, 128GB SSD, 1TB HDD.

Did you include Vegas in the top priority? I can display 1080p at 60FPS without any issues, though before I had it all working I checked if you had the latest Windows 10 update (you should already be on the most recent version if you have the home edition).

Are you sure you're running the newest Windows update? (You'll need to do this yourself if you have the Pro edition.)
