End of life glow, removing all advancement issues
I understand being late to the event but I've just begun playing Dying Light. I enjoy the title yet I'm losing progress each time I restart (about half the time so far). I've encountered several game-breaking issues in my experience, but this seems to be the most severe. It puts us 20 years behind where we used to be able to save our progress. Honestly, let's move on! Techland eventually introduced a simple workaround allowing you to restart from your last main mission, though it wipes out all your inventory—weapons, loot, blueprints, and side quests—and resets skill points. They also lower your skill levels based on your current story position, which is much lower than what you achieved by completing side missions. To me, this isn't a satisfactory solution... I've been searching for a genuine fix and the only complaints I see are from about a year ago, like if the problem had been resolved, they'd just mention the easy one. For some reason, it looks like this bug is still active and there don't seem to be better options available. Oh, and by the way, my game is actually working fine.
