I used to have an i5 8400 and it worked well with xmp profile ddr4 3000mhz before. After switching to i7 9700k and turning on xmp, the PC won't start and the speed drops back to 2400mhz after a few restarts. My RAM is t.force nighthawk 3000mhz 16gb (2x8) and the BIOS is updated. I'm still learning about building PC parts. Need help really. Sorry for the bad English.
