Encountering problems with GPU drivers and frequent system restarts.
Starting with the hardware, CPU is Ryzen 5 1500X, graphics card is MSI 1050ti MOBO, RAM is Gigabyte AB350M-DS3H-CF Bio version f40, and it's installed in the correct slots. Power supply is Smart Thermaltake 430. The GPU works when connected via generic driver, but shuts down after installing the NVIDIA driver. Once in safe mode and reapplying the driver, it functions properly. I've tested this GPU on another system and it operates without issues even after a driver update. Also, I experienced a BSOD with a video scheduler internal error during a fresh Windows 10 installation.
I also used the Corsair 500 watt from another setup, but faced the same problems.
It's actually quite odd I just finished installing f51g, but everything seems to be running smoothly at least for now. If it starts acting up again, I'll update the BIOS. I'm not sure what changed—it even crashed during the driver setup, but everything is back to normal now. The only thing that stood out was that I installed the newest AMD chipset from the MOBO site, which might have been the reason.
Began rerunning the reboot process again, updated BIOS and chipset to the latest version (chipset available on AMD's website), but it’s still not working. Currently performing a chkdsk scan. I don’t remember the precise name, though an error entry in the srttrail log file caught my attention—I checked it but couldn’t understand what it meant.
I’ve checked the PCI port and realized it might be the PCI slot. Testing the other port is blocked because the SATA/other connectors are obstructing the bottom of the board.
