Encountering difficulties with setting up Windows?
I recently purchased an SSD and installed Windows 10 on my USB stick. However, my computer isn't recognizing the drive, and I've set the boot option to the USB. My motherboard can see the USB but won't boot from it. I've tried using both Windows and Linux, but I'm stuck without accessing any installation menus. Please help!
Then it should be that icon after all... I also tried the Windows tool last week and it worked for me. Maybe there are some BIOS settings (boot menu?) that restrict booting only to UEFI devices or unusual names they use? Look into those options—otherwise, I don’t have another idea. - In fact, I just considered an alternative: try booting from another computer to check if the issue lies with your motherboard or the drive itself.
