I just started learning about tags and I’m not sure if this is my dad’s Minecraft account—I’ve been playing it for a while now.

It looks like this might be a solution that has been approved before. However, I can't suggest trying it since it doesn’t seem important enough (my setup is functional). Just a moment ago you had control of this machine, now it belongs to your dad’s account. Make sure you’re using your own administrator login on your laptop. Avoid changing settings for someone else’s device.

Yes, I possess it and my login is active. However, I’m using my dad’s Windows Store account since it contains my Minecraft files, and after removing my own account I still face the same issue.

Navigate to Settings > Accounts > check the name under your profile picture for "Administrator." If it doesn't match, and this is your laptop, you may need to back up your files and settings, then restart Windows if possible.
