I tried various Flash drives, reinstalled the .iso several times, and recreated the partitions for the OS. I realized the Linux swap partition was 3.9 GB instead of 4, even though I set it to 4. I added 4.1 GB for swap and it still read as 4, but the freezing issue persisted. The boot partition is slightly over 800 MB—uncertain if it impacts performance. Also, the drives are around 8 GB each, like 7.60 GB, and I’m not sure if that matters.

The laptop runs so slowly that I doubt PopOS is the best choice for it.
