I was assisting my uncle with his PC upgrade. The new MBOO failed, causing random freezes in Windows and BIOS, not related to RAM, GPU, or drives. I transferred everything to the old board, which functioned properly before. Now Windows won’t boot, only showing a blue screen during startup. Even after installing a fresh Windows 7 on the new board, it still crashes. The CMOS battery was changed, but RAM didn’t help. Could it be that placing the old HDD on the new board caused data loss and now prevents booting?
