I recently assembled a new computer for a friend and am facing some problems. Occasionally it shuts down or the screen goes black. After turning it on, the GPU indicator shows an error. I’m unsure what’s causing the issue. Specifications: Ryzen 5 7600X, Cooler Master Hyper 622, Corsair Vengeance RGB 32GB (2x16), 6000MT/s, Gigabyte B650 Eagle AX, Aero RTX 4060, Corsair RM650 (2023). The only changes I made in the BIOS were enabling XMP. It’s running Windows 11 Home. Appreciate your assistance!

Examine the Event Viewer post-crash to identify any relevant entries. Consider performing a full DDU wipe and reinstallation to assess improvement.

The GPU might be defective, leading the PSU safeguards to activate. Because it’s skipping the BSOD alert and jumping straight to OFF, it could be worth checking. Consider trying a different GPU if you manage to obtain one from someone else.

Thanks! I'm planning to test with two GPUs and will share an update if I run into further issues.
