I purchased the laptop roughly three weeks ago. Initially, it performed well with low ping—around <5ms in CMD Prompt and about 70ms in games like Minecraft and Valorant. Recently, my ping has increased significantly, reaching up to 250ms in the command prompt and 400ms in-game. A wired connection isn’t an option for me. I’ve reset the router, modem, and network card without success. This issue only appears on my computer; other devices show normal ping values.

Have you verified the power configurations (usually in device settings) of the Wi-Fi module? Many are configured for maximum efficiency, which can influence performance. Did the other system you tested use wireless technology? You might find Ping Plotter helpful for network diagnostics at https://www.pingplotter.com/

I reviewed the power settings section in Device Manager and found only two choices. Indeed, the other devices were verified via Wi-Fi. Alright, I’ll look into that application now.

I resolved the problem by adjusting the roaming sensitivity for 2.4G and 5GHz in the device manager.
