I received a copy of Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate and keep facing installation issues. After several attempts, I stopped the process because it didn’t progress and my drive sounded like a blender. I cleaned %temp%, ran ccleaner, fixed registry errors with ccleaner, rebooted, tried running as admin, uninstalled everything that worked, but still have no clear next steps. Error log and setup logs are available online.

It seems to have functioned well, thanks. The installation isn’t complete yet, but it successfully moved through that difficult section first.
