Some players use ENB in their games. Research shows it uses only a few gigabytes of VRAM once you go past W7. For me, my card had 4GB and it worked fine. If you upgrade to 8GB but only get 4GB, it might be a problem. It’s worth considering dual booting W7 and W10 for older DX9 titles if you rely on ENB.

Older titles are losing interest. I’m uncertain about what an ENB means, but it’s not a good idea. Up-to-date games perform better on Windows 10, and switching to Windows 10 will improve your SSD performance compared to using Windows 10 plus Windows 7.

I’m focusing on the base version now, skipping extra visual tweaks. ENB files just improve appearance without changing gameplay.

That's a concern. And yes, I'll be using dual booting Windows 10 just for playing Win 10 exclusive titles. Avoid it unless screenarchery matters to you.
