I aim to let standard users on Windows 10 set up software on their own PCs without admin privileges. I also prefer not to grant them full admin access. I’ve looked this up before but didn’t find a helpful solution, since these users are local accounts.

Navigate to computer management, then select groups and add the individual's name or use a domain user. This will grant only local admin privileges.

They might try to access the admin account. Previously, it was converted to a regular account.

Thanks for your reply. What you're aiming for could have been done on Windows XP. Setting up a domain would be nice, but I doubt it's worth the time investment.
