Sure, it should be straightforward. Just add your Steam library to her Steam profile and she can access it directly from her account.

Accessing your Steam account should work smoothly once you log in.

I hope my partner understands why I need access to his Steam progress. Just share the login details and be ready to explain the security alert about a potential hack attempt. Once that’s done, things should work smoothly.

Alternatively, turn off SteamGuard and opt for Steam Family Sharing.

I could be interpreting your response too intensely. You mentioned setting up Steam on her account, then linking it to my library, but I just received GTA V and don’t need another 60 gigabytes.

Absolutely, you're right about the Steam Guard setting. It's better to keep it enabled rather than risking everything. Sharing accounts on the same PC is a common setup, and the extra security it provides is definitely worth it. Trading or selling items without that layer of protection can be risky.

I used my brother’s Steam account to play a game via sharing, and since he’s on the opposite side of the globe, I think it’s feasible to configure it for multiple PCs.

That's intriguing. Since I don't have any friends or siblings who play the game, I'm not familiar with Steam Family Sharing.
