I'll attempt Sunday evening (the Wi-Fi is poor while the download area prevents me from watching YouTube).

Discussing emulators and suggesting them is acceptable. Providing links for BIOS/ROMs isn't the right approach.

Various emulators offer different balances between precision and available features, as well as compatibility levels. Higan stands out for its highest accuracy, though it misses some usability and comfort aspects—especially noticeable when compared to my experience years ago. Even with perfect emulation quality, a game won’t always appear exactly the same on a PC as it did on an SNES TV. The display will still show sharper pixel edges on a modern monitor versus a CRT screen. I prefer Snes 9X, believing that using a good graphics filter can bring the visual closer to the original SNES and TV experience.

I believe you're all right as long as you're not focusing on sharing pirated ROMs. Talking about torrents is similar; the emulator isn't inherently linked to piracy.
