Hello there, your concern is valid. Using an Android emulator for extended periods while playing a game could potentially harm your computer if it remains active for several hours.

An emulator is simply another type of software. You play games and perform tasks for extended periods without harm, correct? Therefore, what makes an emulator unique?

The worst scenario is the CPU getting hotter and slowing down to avoid overheating, but since you're playing other games for long periods, it won't make a difference.

I didn’t mention that clearly enough.
The emulator runs a game that doesn’t strain the system much, but there’s an autoclicker that triggers roughly every five seconds.
Could leaving it running overnight be harmful?
Some people play late into the night with this setup for a few nights, but could that affect the computer?
I fixed the issue last week and replaced the graphics card with a cheaper one because the previous one wasn’t working well.
My computer is around 4 to 5 years old, so I don’t want to cause any more problems.
Apologies for the unclear writing and being too long.

leaving a pc running for an extended period won't damage it. I use Bluestacks on my second pc if my wife wants to connect online with the other one. It works well, though some users report their antivirus stopping.
