It's challenging to replicate — today's leading machines lack the strength to recreate it. With PS4/Xbone using completely different designs compared to 360/PS3, it's almost impossible they'll ever be emulated again, unless they reach the "vintage" stage where emulation becomes feasible and they turn into a curiosity, similar to the SNES.
The energy needed to operate the emulator is astonishing. I recalled checking it since I was curious about running a PS3 emulator.
Requires significant computing resources, which current systems lack. Emulation of the Playstation 2 is only recently possible, and it’s impressive how outdated that device is!
