Emulador para PS3
Emulador para PS3
noticing our progress on PS2 emulation is still limited, and it demands a lot of resources... I think a PS3 update isn't likely anytime soon. EDIT: at this stage, PS1 emulation is also challenging due to today's powerful hardware... I’d prefer a unified update (fork) for EPSXE rather than trying to emulate a platform that can’t keep up.
What are you referring to? Many games can be played on pcsx2, although not all of them. About 90 percent are functional, which is great. It's impressive how a small group managed to accomplish this in just a few years. Epcxe is quite old, and it's unlikely that many people are playing PS1 titles. Still, a few have managed to run most games. Also, another PS3 emulator has successfully played a cutscene from Silent Hill 2 HD remake. While progress is being made, it's also worth noting that Wii U emulation is slowly catching up.
Well, PS2 does a decent job of emulating, though it can feel quite jumpy compared to bigger games like GTA Vice City Stories. There are minor variations in how PCSX2 processes disk reads versus the original console, leading to some delays. Using an ISO definitely improves performance and makes it run smoother than the original PS2. Regarding PS1 emulation: I only have two setups that support EPSXE—my newest laptop and a Raspberry Pi. Did you just say GBA works well on powerful hardware? My Alcatel Los Angeles does emulate it too.
You can run PS2 at any size with full speed on an AMD Phenom II... yet it still feels demanding. PCSX2 isn’t restricted to just two threads anymore.
Consoles run these games smoothly because they have optimized hardware, while emulators strain older PCs due to limitations in processing power and efficiency.
PCSX2 performs well in software mode. Hardware mode causes compatibility issues.
Hardware mode shifts much of the processing to your GPU, while software mode leads to reduced efficiency.
