I use an Intel i7 3770K with 16GB DDR3 RAM and a VS450 power supply. I installed the MSI GTX 560 Ti using MSI installer without the GPU, and it works fine. When the GPU is added, it fails to boot. Both PCIe slots on my motherboard (MSI Z77MA-G45) were tested, but the issue persists.
Have you tested the GPU on another computer? It might be damaged, which could prevent posting. Alternatively, you can reset the CMOS by removing the battery for a few minutes and then reinserting it.
I don’t have another PC to test it on, but I haven’t reset the CMOS yet. I’ll try it now and let you know the result.
Visit the official support page for the Z77MAG45 motherboard at the provided link. If that doesn't work, reset the CMOS by disconnecting the battery and connecting it again while pressing the CLR_CMOS pin on the motherboard.
It's not working, but the GPU is quite old. My dad discovered it during the shed cleanup—about six years ago or so.
