Emergency following CPU overclock!
Emergency following CPU overclock!
I chose to increase my CPU speed from 200 to 500 (the exact name isn’t remembered) and started my computer, but strange issues appear—my PC boots normally, yet the keyboard, mouse, and monitor fail. How can I go back to the original settings? This is urgent, so please assist. I believe I pushed it too far and don’t know how to undo it even though I can’t see what I’m doing. Everything seems okay on the screen.
The manual will provide instructions tailored to your particular motherboard. However, the board may include either a Clear CMOS button or a jumper switch. You can also shut down the system and disconnect the power source. Allow a few minutes, then remove the CMOS battery (a CR2032 lithium coin cell) from the motherboard for 5 to 10 minutes. After that, reinstall the battery and restart normally.
