Check if the Arous B450M Elite from Gigabyte is suitable for your build. Are there any missing components or considerations? Does it meet your power needs and performance expectations?

I intend to use the rig for a minimum of five years. I purchased and assembled it, and it functions properly. It handles 1080p to 1440p gaming well, but since it’s mainly for virtualization, having eight cores really helps. I’d consider selling the 2060 in a year or two anyway, so I thought the 3700 x would provide flexibility for a next-gen GPU or a 2080 Super in the future. What do you think? I’m hoping the motherboard supports a next-gen GPU—we’re not sure what Nvidia plans for mid-range cards. It’s all about the 3000 or 3080, and the case was just $35 new from Zebronics.

However, the following cards would likely be pics 4.0, and opting for a 3.0 would result in losing bandwidth and lanes. I believe it would underperform relative to the same setup with PCIe 4.0 support.
