QTEs in that game involve more than simply pressing a key at a specific time. Repeatedly tapping a key rapidly when prompted is necessary. For finisher moves, the cursor must be moved into a designated circle before pressing the indicated key. The :24 mark of the video demonstrates this with a directional arrow prompt for cursor movement prior to the finisher key press.
