I'm assembling a computer and found a laptop HDD from my parents' old Toshiba. I tried connecting it to check if Windows would boot and run, hoping to save on an operating system. The main issue is the excessive Toshiba branding. If possible, I'd like to remove that branding. Otherwise, it's acceptable. My goal is to transfer the OS to my SSD—it's a Crucial mx100. The installation hasn't been completed yet, and the code is visible on my control panel. Thanks for your assistance, Davsmith4. This discussion covers various tech challenges.
