ELEX sounds like a question about quality or appearance. What do you mean by "good," "bad," or "ugly"?

It's interesting that it hasn't generated much excitement despite its October release. Gemeranx reviewed it, and the team (destructoid?) gave a quick look at a beta version. Jay on Gameranx drew a comparison to Fallout. You're seeking a title matching the standard of THE WITCHER 3—something exceptional. With $100 in Xbox funds available, you're eager to invest in a solid RPG. What do other forum participants think?
It seems like a small independent developer—maybe not as polished as larger studios. That could account for the absence of big marketing buzz.
It was developed by Piranha Bytes, known for Gothic and Risen, and released by THQ Nordic. It could be seen as an indie title, though it's far from the kind of polished experience you'd expect from AAA games. Many players seek the high standard set by Witcher 3, so this one likely won't match that level of quality. While it might still offer some enjoyment, it's probably best to wait until it's out before giving it a strong recommendation. Additionally, Gameranx isn't considered a reliable source for reviews.
I'm excited about the upcoming Gamescom clips. Gothic 3 and Risen 1 & 2 didn't impress me much, and I haven't played Risen 3 yet, though I think Gothic 1 and 2 are some of the best PC titles out there. ELEX feels different, and the new footage looks superior to the earlier releases. The animation quality has improved, and the world details now look impressive.
They developed Gothic 1+2, ranking among the top RPGs of all time. I plan to give it a shot.
I attempt to incorporate various commentators and look for a balanced perspective. I also check forums and browse around. Regarding Witcher3, I understand it well—I'm aiming for top-notch quality. It was an excellent collection that even my non-gaming spouse could enjoy (music, CD soundtrack, smooth hack & slash scenes, detailed side stories). If I can't achieve W3 standards, I'll just keep playing it...
