Hi there, I'm from England too. We use Sky Fibre routers—2.4GHz and 5GHz versions. The problem is that when I play on my PlayStation for online services, the connection drops within 5 to 10 minutes. I've talked to them, but they just say it takes a lot of bandwidth and don't seem to understand. They ended up giving up and didn’t help much. I tried manually setting the channel and adjusting sync between the two bands. There are three channel options now. Any advice would be really appreciated.

Determine if the issue lies with Wi-Fi or the network connection. The best approach is to test with a long Ethernet cable throughout the house—if problems persist, it’s likely a network issue; otherwise, check your broadband setup.

That's correct, my system is working properly. I can enjoy gaming for extended periods via Wi-Fi without any problems.

I’d definitely use an ethernet cable. If it’s just a WiFi issue, the top choice is to purchase a dedicated WiFi access point and turn off WiFi on the Sky Hub.

Are you using a PS4 Pro? The regular model came with just a 2.4GHz radio, which might be an issue if you share a space with others. A wired connection would be better if you can.

It seems like you're planning to install a powerline connection.

There was a past problem with this device, and it might help to lower the router's MTU setting to 1492.
