Electric buzz during gameplay and Discord chats
hello ,
I'm having really annoying issue like i can hear buzzing or brrr sound at the middle or end of my friend's phrases in discords call and its only me and some times it happens during gaming but like not that noticeable as discord calls
i have tried many solutions but nothing works
- tried to uninstall realtek audio driver and install latest one from my mobo site
- tried to use high performance mode from control panel + disabled ECO mode from Bios as well
- updated my LAN driver to latest one from mobo site
-using latest nivida driver so far ( used DDU to uninstall the previous one )
- i disabled all un used sound or recording devices
-disabled audio enhancement
idk is it windows related issue ? is it 25h2 ? idk
i have some notes to mention:-
- in bios i only use EXPO profile 6000mhz
- enable secure boot is on
- gpu pci setting im using it GEN5 instead of Auto edit ( changing it to auto didnt fix)
-using Memory Context restore & Power Down mode ( stuff related to reduce ram training )
-For now my Onikuma x26 comes with a splitter to (green/pink) jacks
i have tested a tool named LatencyMon
with headphone plugged and unplugged the same conclusion text occurs up there
idk what those numbers refer to tho please help me out.
i wanna spot another important thing my sound setting are at 24bit 48k can that be the issue like 16 bit is stable?
im confused but i will try it too

Which connection point is you using? Because it includes a USB port and a 3.5mm jack at the end of the cable.
If you're using the 3.5mm jack, should it be plugged into the front of the PC or directly to the back (right next to MoBo)?
Consider using only USB unless it's specifically for LED lights.
Also, try using a second headphone or headset to eliminate any issues with the Onikuma X26.
rear panel from mobo direct - excludes usb connection for led lights
Consider using the front audio port first, to eliminate the possibility of interference from the rear port. Additionally, test with a different pair of speakers or headphones, to check if the problem lies with your headset.
without any headset connected at all
just audio from my TV (temporary until I get a monitor, though it's an old TV with 1366x786 resolution)
🤔 Based on LatencyMon, performance improved after removing the headset. It might be related to the headset or drivers. For testing, I cleared Realtek settings. I also faced major problems with Realtek on my MoBo, even though my audio codec is ALC4082 while yours is ALC897. My experience was extremely bad—Realtek drivers stopped all audio from 3.5mm jacks completely. I ended up wiping out the Realtek setup and now everything works fine with the built-in Windows audio drivers. You might want to try the same: clear Realtek, restart, check if audio improves or the issue disappears. If it does, avoid reinstalling Realtek.
I suggest avoiding drivers from the Realtek site, as the download speeds there are extremely poor.
While experimenting with Realtek drivers, I downloaded a 258MB version from this link:
https://www.realtek.com/Download/List?cate_id=593
It took over four hours before the speed dropped significantly.
The Realtek website doesn’t specify which audio codec the driver supports, other than indicating it’s an HD Audio driver.
For better results, consider using the driver from your motherboard support page.
