Hi, I have a query about the EK Predator 240 and its compatibility with the Kraken x61 and Corsair H110i GTX. I'm interested in running a Skylake CPU, specifically the 6600K, at speeds around or above 4.4 GHz. I've heard that Asetek units tend to be quite noisy under heavy load, so I want to avoid a loud machine in my room. Can one of these systems match the performance of a lower-noise CLC model with the Predator? Also, can a Predator 360 be a better option? I'm planning to use a Noctis 450 (a H440 with a different casing) and an MSI Z170 Gaming M5. Is the Predator a good investment?

I would just use air like a Cryorig R1 with water, it will be louder since the fans are always there, no matter what you buy. To me, the extra cost isn't worth it.

It's a fairly gentle increase in clock speed, and any of the options you mentioned would be suitable or even adequate with proper air cooling. With Skylake, you typically reach your maximum performance before temperature problems arise if you're using good cooling. Unless you're intentionally pushing too high a voltage.

Awesome. I was considering aiming for 4.4 as a starting point, but if I could push it higher while keeping it steady and quiet, I’d definitely be happy. Since I’m playing CSGO, an overclock would be beneficial. Is the predator worth the extra $60 compared to the kraken? I’d rather not have to purchase aftermarket fans (and noctuas), so I’d need it to remain reasonably quiet (to avoid disturbing family members).

I would prefer using air like a Cryorig R1 with water, as it will be louder regardless of the fans you choose. To me, the extra cost isn't justified.
