Hello, with Black Friday near, I'm thinking about enhancing my PC, especially the memory RAM. Right now I have: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16 GB DDR4-3200Mhz CL16. I’m planning to buy another set of identical RAM (54€ each), bringing my total to 32GB across four slots. Mostly I use it for gaming and don’t do much heavy work. I want to know if this upgrade would noticeably boost my gaming experience and if it’s a good investment. Please let me know!

Your PC might be struggling with memory usage. Upgrading RAM could significantly improve performance. Otherwise, you shouldn't notice much difference.

On my computer the only programs needing extra RAM beyond the 16GB I own are modified Minecraft and possibly a multiplayer mod. It really depends on your activities.

What's your current RAM consumption? Are you exceeding 15GB, close to 16GB? If you're running a heavily modded game such as Ark or Minecraft, you're likely using more than 16GB, particularly when other applications are active. You probably won't feel the impact, since reaching just over 16GB doesn't noticeably slow you down. A significant increase in FPS isn't expected either way. With 8GB, performance might be a bit limited, but 16GB remains a strong capacity for gaming.

50€ isn't enough to make a big impact. 32GB of RAM seems like a solid choice.

Hi @Dedayog, your support was really helpful when I was setting up my new PC last year. I mostly enjoy playing MMORPGs and racing games. My system has a 6900 XT with 16GB RAM and I haven’t faced any issues there.
