It's interesting to note. Many editors and photo manipulators prefer Macs because of tools like Final Cut Pro, and some believe Macs are more finely tuned for editing tasks.

Certain programs perform more smoothly on macOS, and Apple maintains full authority over the devices used with their apps. However, creating a custom build for a hackintosh remains the optimal choice if you need to work within macOS.

I haven't explored them deeply enough to see major variations, and I'm not very familiar with video editing or music production—areas where Macs are commonly used. Still, their marketing seems to have a strong impact, consistently aiming to connect with the creative side of artists through their design and messaging. Steve Jobs often emphasized his dedication to merging art and technology. This approach likely helps people link artistic creation with Macs.

It mainly reflects historical industry preferences with minimal current justification. However, Macs offer impressive displays and simplicity for beginners. That’s the situation.

The screen feature isn't really necessary since most ready-made systems lack one, similar to how a Mac Pro is missing it. It's easy to find a quality display, and using one with a DP connection works well.

I was really impressed by the color accuracy on Imacs, but I still believe those who insist on using Apple for content creation are wrong. Even regarding fonts, the way Macs render them is quite poor compared to TrueType, which is why I focus on web development on Windows.

Final Cut Pro 7 and Logic Pro are largely responsible for their popularity. Combined with the idea that most users don’t need to learn Windows, they’re unlikely to switch now. Additionally, many newcomers hear "OS X is great at editing" and may base their choice on that impression. That’s my perspective at least.
