Hey y'all,
I've got two sets of files for the same show—one in English and one in Spanish. I extracted the audio from one and merged it with subtitles into a single video. My issue is that the time stamp at the bottom of the player doesn't match what I expect. Each episode is supposed to be 59 minutes, but after merging, it shows up as about 1 hour and 57 minutes. Anyone have a idea on how to fix this?

Usually you don't need to extract audio from either file. Try combining both at once; when loaded together they'll be color-coded so you can identify them. Then pick the image (either one if they should match), the audio track, and the subtitle track you want in the new file. You should be able to create it successfully before. If issues persist, download the MediaInfo app and share its feedback on each file.

Additionally, be mindful when combining parts from various videos. The files need to start identically. Some videos might include a brief logo or intro at the beginning. If they aren't perfectly identical, you may need to trim a few seconds from the longer offender before importing into MKVtoolnix. You can use any video trimmer such as LosslessCut for this purpose. Just in case your audio and video don't match up.
