uncertain about the settings but my edge router clashes with the home hub 3000. it’s in DMZ mode, so it shouldn’t be affected by the bell modem, yet when you connect to it, it shows all your devices on 192.168.1.1 and also lists the bell modem’s IP as 192.168.2.1. additionally, it lets you access the ER control panel even though you’re connected to the bell router, which is positioned ahead of the edge router. it feels like a double network issue in DMZ. help needed

Check if Bell switches the Home Hub to Bridge mode, which might fix the double NAT problems.

They couldn't have asked earlier, at least that's what the tech said.

From what I've seen and tested, the issue appears to be a more complex DMZ setup. I used it to address the double nat problem, but it seems regular DMZ might not function properly with the home hub 3000. Overall, the alternative looks promising.

yea..... I with I could do that, as much as I did not like eastlink and there slow systems I really did like the fact that there was just a modem for internet and each port had an external Ip, I did not have to use there stuff at all. Now I have another wifi network on both bands and 2 routers to deal with.
