Edge seems to be handling my browsing history differently. About a month back, it began removing my browser data. Settings were adjusted to clear everything each time the browser closes, with tracking prevention turned off and most other options disabled. Chrome functions normally. In Edge, typing 'yo' works instantly, but entering full URLs like Youtube.com or Twitch.tv requires typing them manually even after closing the tab. Visiting YouTube in one window and opening another doesn’t retain the search term. Any tips would be appreciated. Cheers from an advanced user.

It seems you're exploring third-party tools that claim to optimize or clean systems. Are you looking for something similar to an optimizer, cleaner, or even antivirus software?

I don’t rely on any AV software. My setup uses an ABlocker extension. Trying to disable it and then restarting Edge didn’t help. Resetting Edge to its original settings also produced the same outcome.
