Hi! I haven't personally tested it yet, but I've heard some users try ECC memory on the RIVE board and get mixed results. It might depend on your specific setup and motherboard model. You could check forums or the manufacturer's support pages for more details.

It doesn't make sense to require ECC support. What's important is that the module isn't registered or buffered (not RDIMM).

I understand ECC isn't mentioned on the main site, and Xeon chips aren't listed either—yet I haven't found anyone to verify that...
