Hello! It looks like your PC is using ECC RAM, but the BIOS isn't recognizing it while normal RAM does. In software like CPUZ it appears to work fine. Your system specs are an Asus Sabertooth X79 with an Intel i7 3930K. You can still run programs, though some might have trouble detecting ECC memory. Many users have reported success without ECC support and others have faced issues. It seems possible if you're using compatible tools.

ECC RAM can function with nearly any board regardless of whether it includes the ECC feature directly. What memory type is currently connected to the board?

The ECC memory is Samsung’s 8GB modules, while the others are a blend of Corsair and Kingston chips. I’m still confused about how the CPU can read them but the BIOS can’t.

ECC memory operates without issues outside its protected mode, though it may not be properly recognized.

Taskmgr doesn't appear to recognize them because it shows 6/8 slots used, with 2 filled in ECC memory. They're registered, and I have the security ID on them.

The i7s do not accept registered settings. Only unfiltered dimming functions, which won’t work in ECC mode, are supported.

They are already registered. You need the extra pins to use them correctly, but your board doesn't have them.

In short, there’s nothing that can fix it.
