I’m looking for lightweight Minecraft packs that fit on a laptop, such as those compatible with Computercraft. Since you’ll be playing on your college desktop and connecting via Hamachi, focus on easy-to-run servers. Consider simpler setups like vanilla or minimal modded versions to keep things simple without overloading the system.

The ideal mod pack fits every PC without overwhelming performance. Just experiment with installing different packs, uninstall those that don’t suit you, and try alternatives.

Shaders influence speed, but most changes won’t matter. Unless it’s a wild mod adding thousands of cows, the effect stays small.
