Hello everyone. I want to apologize immediately for my limited English skills, not my native language. While playing Apex Legends, the processor runs at full capacity, the task manager shows 60% usage, and the system process is at 40%.
When exiting the game, the EA app launcher shows a gray "play" button, suggesting the game is running but closed. It’s necessary to forcefully close all EA processes via the task manager. After closing, in the manager, the system process loads for 30-40%.
I wanted to investigate what was happening during this process, especially given the large download size. Using the Windows Performance Toolkit, it was found that the anti-cheat (EasyAntiCheat_EOS.sys) is present in this process and interferes with its operation. A screenshot is attached.
WPTK
The anti-cheat file was deleted and re-downloaded. The game was verified for integrity, ran from administrator mode, but it didn’t resolve the issue. Compatibility checks with any OC version also failed.
I also noticed another interesting detail. In the NVIDIA Control Panel, specifying the path Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat_EAC reveals it is set as an anti-cheat for Elden Ring. Even more amusingly, when you enter the game’s location path "start_protected_game", it identifies itself as an anti-cheat for Sniper Elite 5. I must admit, I don’t own these games and have never played them.

If you examine the anti-cheat files closely, you’ll find:
1. EasyAntiCheat_EOS.exe - Version 1.3.2
2. start_protected_game.exe - Version 1.6.5
screenshot 3
I still feel that the anti-cheat and its dependencies are causing conflicts, leading to similar issues as myself and other players.
If anyone has faced this problem or knows a solution, please let me know.

Precisely what you're aiming to remove? An app, a task, a function? File name, directory, location...?

You've highlighted most of the content in the images, which means important details and hints are missing.

Can't unload EasyAntiCheat_EOS.sys from the System process when closing the game. It's in the same folder as EasyAntiCheat_EOS.exe at C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat_EAC. Along the way, you'll find it next to EasyAntiCheat_EOS.exe. The system stores a text file named Version indicating it's an Easy Anti-Cheat driver. Essentially, the anti-cheat software activates the "System" process during and after gameplay.

Consider consulting people familiar with the gaming scene who understand the games you're playing and can spot issues that shouldn't exist.
