Hey there! I'm a big fan of CnC generals. I've been playing it for a while, but I remember hearing about the CnC: Generals 2 announcement around 2012-2013. I even signed up for the closed beta, though I wasn't accepted. That's why I'm excited to join BF Hardline now. Have you heard any updates about the game? I haven't seen any forum posts or reviews saying it's gone. Any word from your side?

It seems the plan was scrapped, according to what I understand.

What a great question! If you're looking for something similar to War, but with a more modern twist, check out games like Red Alert or Command & Conquer. They offer a classic strategy experience without the older themes. Let me know if you want more suggestions!

It became the open-source C&C title they abandoned after closing Victory Games.

The C&C line dropped after West-Wood went bankrupt. EA heavily reshaped all their acquired titles, including Earth and Beyond and Nox—something that seemed ill-advised since Nox was a solid game and could have had an amazing sequel. Now I’m done discussing it. I’m planning to throw up in the bucket with the writing on it saying *I Hate EA*.

I once enjoyed the C&C titles but I think they're long gone now. I'm really looking forward to Galactic Civ's III.
