This discussion revolves around theories behind the "Chinese CPUs" that seem to originate from Intel. The idea is that these chips might actually be retail Intel products rebranded as Chinese to legally sell in Russia while avoiding restrictions. Alternatively, they could be semi-legal arrangements. Russia may acknowledge purchasing Chinese CPUs, and China might claim ownership of them.

I also recall them mentioning a gaming system with Chinese labels on its CPU die, though it was an older Intel I3 10th generation model. It makes sense that China recycles old CPUs and gives them new uses.

No chance that they just cloned 10th gen processors? There's rumours about them getting their hands on 14nm lithography equipments a few years back. Low end chips because of low yield, and if you're gonna clones 14nm chips might as well make a copy of the best 14nm CPU. Just a theory, but a couple things do line up. If they wanna sell to Russia, I don't think they'd need such an round about way to do so.
