I recently purchased this title only months ago, even during Early Access. The gameplay is truly outstanding. It's also the first official release I've heard of, hitting shelves by December 7th. If you're thinking about buying it, do it now! It's definitely worth the investment. By the way, I'd enjoy driving it with a steering wheel. I bought my Logitech Driving Force GT for around £30, and it has greatly enhanced the Rally experience.

Many early access titles have successfully launched fully, and there are numerous quality options available.

Dirt Rally stood out as a worthwhile purchase even during its early access phase. The developers maintain transparency by delivering Free DLC with each update.

You need a steering wheel before anything else.

I'm testing a PS4 controller and it still functions nicely unless you're about to get a racing wheel soon. The game looks solid and runs smoothly on my setup (i5 2500k @ 4.4, GTX980 @ 1450). During the first playthrough, auto-detection pushed everything to its highest setting. Benchmarks showed an average of 120fps, ranging from 95 to 130. I've played roughly seven hours without any issues so far. The only minor issue is a slight lag when shifting quickly—about half a second delay. This hasn't affected my speed during normal cornering, but if you spin out or need to jump into revers quickly, you might only shift one or two gears at a time. A tip: avoid the Lancia Stratos unless you're fully confident in your skills. It's fun, but it can be quite challenging to handle. Also, enjoy trying it out—just don't expect it to be smooth on snowy tracks in Sweden with tight corners and snow banks that pull you in!
