A BIOS update could be a good option, but it seems the XMP settings aren't working well. I've found XMP to often behave unpredictably and inconsistently.
My memory is set in slots 2 and 4 as instructed in the MOBO guide. My XMP has been functioning well since I installed my PC about three months ago, though this issue began appearing roughly one to two weeks ago.
